thanks for the comment on working with students till we are old and grey.

For me, living well would mean others, including my wife and kids, might say that I live genreously; with my $$, my time and my talents...whatever.

Living well would also have to include hearing stories of students I hung out with who are now all growed up, investing in other people.

If I could experience those two things with any kind of regularity I would be living pretty well.
